Does carrying a doll help? Yes, but it can be a doll, a teddy or anything that is going to allow you an opportunity to practice using the new baby equipment and how you and your dog are going to interact when your attention is busy. This is a great exercise for Dads, Moms and any caretakers to practice in preparation.
