The holidays bring about many expectations along with chaos. As parents prepare and get gifts ready many are grateful for the moment that the baby is resting or occupied in a swing or other activity. This allows them time to wrap gifts, bake cookies, decorate their house etc. Parents please remember that as you "deck the halls" you are sure to be following your usual management and supervision of your dog and baby. Remember....it only takes a moment of being distracted for an accident of any kind to turn tragic. Dog related or otherwise the holidays can add more hazards for crawling and newly mobile babies. Be extra attentive and set realistic expectations for yourself especially if you have a new young baby. There are many years ahead for you to "get it all done!" Enjoy your wee one and your furry friends and be safe this holiday.
