Allowing a dog to care take in this way by "cleaning" a baby is not a safe idea.

Is this a 'possessive" type of behavior? It's obvious that the dog wasn't necessarily being mean to the baby, but it sure didn't seem comfortable to me...but not 100% sure why.
Personally I don't like dogs cleaning or caretaking with babies or children. That is not their job or something they should do. Do you want them to discipline them? If not why caretake them? This is the parents job and I am not comfortable with dogs invading babies space this way. One lick is one thing but cleaning a baby is a whole different thing.
